I recently started a new job. Until now I never realized just how big of an impact my thoughts and actions have on others. It sounds weird, but it’s true! I see every day how the actions and thoughts of one individual directly influences the actions and thoughts of another individual. One’s influence shows in the way another walks, talks, eats, thinks, plays, and sleeps and the list could go on forever.
I’ve mentioned before how much I love the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. This video highlights how we, not just mothers, but as a community affect the way others feel about themselves.
We don’t always think we are making an impact on another, but keep in mind that even the smallest actions may be noticed. Let’s use our power to influence others for the better. Let’s use our power to make others feel how amazing they are. Let’s use our power to give others the confidence they need to be the best they can be.
Let’s make our beauty legacy a good one.
