It’s time to trust in the timing of your life. We live in a world where we run around 24/7. We over schedule and spread ourselves too thin all the time. We need to wear the perfect outfit, have magazine worthy hair and makeup, clean our entire house, cook three meals, bring cookies to our neighbors, workout, complete a craft, and take care of all the errands on our to-do list in a single day.
Often when we don’t get it all done we feel like failures, and sometimes this feeling of failure transfers into many aspects of our lives. We tend to think if we aren’t married by the time we hoped we aren’t good enough; if we aren’t offered our dream job the moment after graduation we are failures; if we aren’t millionaires by the time we are 30 we never will be. We rush and rush and rush and when things don’t go according to the timeline we had in mind we feel bad.
I plan things out in my head all the time and I often feel that my way is the best way. Over the last few years I have learned my timing is NOT always the best timing.
We can’t try to rush things that need time to grow. Sometimes the timing we have planned is not the perfect timing in the long run. Often, we don’t understand this concept until days, weeks, months, sometimes years later! However, life has a crazy way of making everything work out in the end. When we trust in the timing of our lives we will learn that things don’t always work out the way we had in mind, but they always work out the way they are supposed to.
My JORD watch helps me to pay attention to the timing in my life. I love that it has a unique look because it’s wooden.
