It’s Thanksgiving week and I am so excited! Good food, good friends, and family time is the recipe for an amazing weekend. I love that there are so many fun family traditions around this time of year.
One of my very favorite traditions is writing anonymous thank-you cards to people who have made a positive impact on my life and delivering them (or doorbell ditching them… haha) to their homes. It can be someone I talk to often or someone I haven’t talked to in years. It can be someone I see every day or someone I’ve seen only once. It doesn’t matter how close I am with them, only that they’ve made a positive difference in my life!
My husband and I started this tradition after getting married and it quickly became my favorite one. This tradition gives me a thankful heart (the perfect way to prepare for this week) and I hope it brings joy to those who receive the note!

I love our tradition of playing “scum” and other card games with my favorite cousins every “thanksgiving night.” Wether we were together for a thanksgiving feast earlier that day or not we always get to see that one family later that night and it’s too fun!!
