This article is short, sweet, and a little life-changing to be honest. How often do you look in the mirror and wish you could change something you see? How often do you think “I wish I had thicker hair” or “I wish my legs were shaped differently” or even “I wish my feet were more attractive”? This may sound a little silly, but we know all of us say similar things about ourselves at one point or another.
Reading this article I learned an important lesson– I am given one life, one body, and one chance to make the most of it. I cannot waste my time wishing to change certain parts of my body ! I have got the one I have got and the physical characteristics I hold have no effect on the person I am. I would not be any more patient if I were taller. I would not be any wiser if my abs were a little more defined. I would not be any more skilled if my hair were brown.
Today, I encourage you to take a moment and read this short article. Maybe it will help you put things into perspective as much as it has helped me to do so. May we show ourselves a little more love and be a little less critical of the things we cannot change in life. I promise it is worth the read!
